Boomslang loom issue
Hi all

I've searched everywhere for this answer but unsuccessfully.

Just fitted the Boomslang headlight loom upgrade from Paddocks. All fine and easy to fit although I now don't have full beam or flash working.

what am I missing? Do i need to bypass the existing relay? Which one is it?

Thanks 2009 Puma 110 SW

If it wasn't doing anything abnormal before you fitted the kit then either the kit is wrong/faulty or its not fitted correctly. Looking at the product several issues appear, there have been experience of wiring diagrams being incorrect with cables depicted actually being a different colour in the loom itself, people have fitted the wrong kit for their specific vehicle, the piece part items in this loom are cheap and inferior and fail from the onset.
The Landreiziger kit has a better success rate and better reviews. I'd send it back before you get too 'bogged down.'

I'm quite happy with my Boomslang loom, I would definitely recommend it. I did make a few changes though, like adding convoluted sleeve on the unprotected portions of the wire feed.

The loom is pretty simple, I reckon, only thing that can go wrong are the relays, so I would start with this.

Thanks guys. Yeah think i'll start with the relays and go from there.
Unless I imagined it, Im pretty sure the full beam worked for a few seconds when I first turned it on. Only wanted to stop replacing melting switches. 2009 Puma 110 SW
