Hi

It is impossible to quote guaranteed gains of MPG as every driver is different and everyone uses there vehicle differently. What we are saying that due to the reduction in drag it will give a helping hand with the MPG.

Hi

Our Steering Guard does effectively help direct the airstream in a more beneficial manner and we can prove this by using our Dyno fan and our smoke machine to show the path the air takes at 60mph wind speed. By a result of this it causes less drag which in turn increases MPG. This is fairly basic knowledge that less drag = more MPG.

If there is a demand we will be happy to set up this demonstration on our Dyno again to prove our point.

Would prefer you did some real world testing and told us the results...otherwise you are just blowing smoke... Whistle

Steering guard
Hello,

in my opinion a sump guard must be strong enough to jack the defender. I can't believe that a 5 or 6mm sheet metal (alu) is strong enough for this. We prefer 10 mm Alu for the steering defender guards, 12 mm for Iveco or Mercedes Sprinter. The plate-design can be closed (without holes) or with a few holes for a fast cleanning if you went into the mud.

Regards- Markus
