Hi Niks. They are cable tied down the outside of the chimney. All the wires are in waterproof conduit. Then there a tiny hole, under the wing, by the bonnet hinge. You can't see it at all. The wires go thru this and into the engine bay. this hole is also waterproofed.

So, yes, down the intake, but on the outside. If the wires go down the inside, then it potentially renders the intake non-waterproof, which would be bad.

DO you like the WARN's. I love mine - i like the fact on low beam they don't dazzle oncoming drivers.

James

Is that mirrored windows you have there? I can't work out why I can see bricks through all the glass? Mind you, not long back from the pub for a pre-Xmas drink, so could be my error!!! Laughing

Thanks Simon. It's extremely rare she's ever that clean. I'd just washed her to put the roof rack on. Right now she's caked in mud as is normal.

Hi James, fantastic Def!

What kind of plates/platforms did You fit on the roof rack? Is it an original accessory or is it a self made solution?

Ciao Vinicio

It's the aluminium board that you find on the g4, made by Breed International. It's great because itnhas antislip all over the surface.

Where can you pick one of those up? I looked at the BreedGroup website but it doesn't have any info re. pricing or stockists.

Apologies.

I too would like some of that boarding for the Brownchurch and realise that marine grade ply, varnished and covered with non slip stuff a bit like plastified black sand paper (like on a scate board) is the answer. I haven't found a supplier of the latter yet...
