I should think you'll be fine.
14k isn't too long really with modern oils. If they've done mostly long journeys you should have no issues. I wouldn't worry about the oil change interval at 14k. The factory recommends 12k but 14k in a year is OK. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

thanks guys I guess you've told me what I really wanted to hear. As I've said I'll be having a more thorough test drive next Friday after which if I go for it all I'll need (from what I've seen in this forum) is a tube of silicone, a box of spanners and a big bag of swear words to keep it on the straight and narrow ! cheers

I wouldnt worry about an extra 2k
Obviously try an negotiate something for it...but there isnt much of an issue there. Mike |

it wouldnt bother me, 2k extra shouldnt be a problem if quality oil has been used. Cheers
