If the truck is centrally 'locked', is that possible? In any event it would certainly trigger the alarm. YOLO... You Only Live Once...

Ant - no worries mate
YOLO - yep, you're right, the alarm should get triggered. This is just to make the initial entry a tad more difficult due to what micky pointed out MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html MY16 Santorini 90 HT - sold |

Went to check wifey's new 90 - at the dealers at the moment and looking stunning! Right in the middle of the showroom where the legend belongs, quite sentimental when one thinks there won't be many more new ones displayed like that...
It's a very basic spec, has some of the 'necessities' such as convenience and winter pack. But despite it's simplicity I was no less impressed than with my XS 110 when I picked her last year. Amazing how much charm these cars have even at their simplest. Very nice, Mrs jk84 is a very lucky lady...😎
We're down in Cornwall for a few days ( and off to the forum meet at Devon4x4) and then down again in the 2nd week of Feb, so might meet up if you're down. Enjoy the 90... Cheers Simon |

Thank you Simon, kind of you I have to admit she chose well, truck looks great.
Would love to see both you and Carol! We're actually off to Eastnor this weekend, for the LR experience Not sure yet if I drive down to Tamara's on Friday night (Braunton) or will head to somewhere around Bristol as it's little closer from London. If I head over to Braunton, then perhaps we can grab a breakfast together on Sat morning - need to be at Eastnor for 1pm. Will get in touch! Otherwise 2nd week of Feb sounds good too! Sounds like you'll have a fun weekend.
We're heading down to Truro on Wednesday then will head up to Devon4x4 on Saturday morning so not sure how the logistics will work, but if they do, great. Otherwise see you in Feb. Have fun at Eastnor. Cheers Simon |

Thanks Simon, will do!
I was just reading through the D44 meet up thread and see that some members are meeting for a coffee at J27 beforehand. I might pop by as it's on my way to Eastnor and also around the time I'll be passing by. Enjoy the meet up at D44! Hello jk84
Fantastic...you can create your very own convoy... The roof looks silver...or is that a trick of the light... As you say there is just something so right about our vehicle of choice... happy ownership, one each, perfect... SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

Thanks Martin
Indeed the two will look quite cool together once united And very good spot, the roof is actually silver – Indus Silver to be precise. Was the only other optional extra. Wifey’s plan is to steal my Dual Finish wheels and silver grille/light surrounds to go for a bit of a Silver Pack look. But that I will only allow once I get the budget sorted for some new wheels for my 110 MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html MY16 Santorini 90 HT - sold |

Well, she's not too bad with DIY, but luckily only as far as home DIY goes! Car spanners are a very remote concept for her...for now MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html
