i know the only difference between the white/green/green (110 SW) and the brown purple (110 USW) is the free length
CSW RHD 110 7 Seat (3050kg) RKB500300 White/green/green 422.96mm RHD 110 Utility RKB101111 Purple/Brown 409.96mm Only difference between the 2 springs is free length All other figures are identical for coil diameter, wire diameter, rate1, 2 & 3, total coils... RKB101111 409.96 RKB500300 422.96 Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Surely this can't be right? So they're the same, but the longer RKB500300 is softer?
Looking around the web, and in particular at a photo of the brown/purple springs, they appear to be a dual rate spring? ![]() I'm looking at softening up the rear of my 110 USW. Am I wasting my time, then, with the RKB500300 springs (which incidentally have just ordered, although could cancel if in time)? I'm really confused (as usual! ![]()

Hi James,
Wasn't questioning your statement - Just expressing my own confusion! ![]() Still not sure - But will take a photo of the two spring types next to each other when I pick them up on Monday. If the worst comes to the worst I guess I can take them back to the dealer. My 110 is due to go to local garage next week. Hoping that with the new Bilsteins I have, plus softer rear springs, thr harsh ride will be reduced, and my wife will be happy! ![]() ![]() 2010 110 XS USW (the slow one) 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ (the fast one) 2005 Ducati ST3 1954 Sunbeam S8 |

OK, so got my RKB500300s today.
Here's a photo of one (excuse the crap iPhone photo): ![]() Click image to enlarge and here's one of the Brown/purple springs, as fitted to 110s as standard now. ![]() Different? You tell me! ![]() FYI, the length of the RKB500300s (as measured by me) is 424mm. G'day Everyone,
Did we get the springs resolved. I have the Green/Green/White and would like to go a lttile firmer on the the rear. Any ideas what to use. No intention of raising vehicle. Jake |
