Well I agree with you, in particular the owner is more important than the dog and if you don't put the effort in then you get what you deserve. It shouldn't be under estimated just how much time and commitment is needed to get to a place where a dog is comfortable and happy. |

Labs and Borders go hand in hand as they like each others company. Or just have a Border, advantage: small in small out!

As a Lab owner for 10 years plus there is no doubt that they are wonderful dogs.....as long as you put the effort in.
We had a pedigree dog and one from Labrador Lifeline a charity that specialises in rescue Labs of all ages. As a charity they are very thorough in checking that the prospective home is right for the dog in question. Even with 2 other dogs we were given a firm but fair grilling about our attitude and approach to all things canine. Good luck whatever your decision and remember that you will only get back what you put in.... |
