Having a clear out in the garage and have a set if these Land Rover logo puddle/footwell projector led lights.
Brand new boxed simple 2 wire connection they are about 6cm high and only require a 23mm hole correct hole cutter is included in kit. Don't know if you can think of any other ingenious uses for them on the motor. If a tap was taken from the interior light via a relay they could be interior light triggered then.
They are nearly 1A though so I'd be inclined not to power directly from it. |

That could be a plan
Just tested them in the dark/fog and they are very good. The are best at the bottom of the door position for brightness, they also look cool as a footwell light. Both locations are challenging to achieve as there is no obvious easy mounting point. Ideally a flat surface pointing down. On a 'car' the door bin would be perfect. I will have to look again in the daylight to see what can be done. |

I've got a set, but not yet fitted as I can't find anywhere for them to go?
The door frame bottoms are not wide enough for them, and the door trim is no good either! So they have been resigned to the dark side of the shed, until some bright spark comes up with a good solution for fitting them! Watching with interest..... Quite like the idea of the footwell. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

How about this......
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390840485963?_tr...EBIDX%3AIT The LED unit is 65mm deep, the pod measurements might work. |
