I believe this is the one dgardel used. It is reduced from £84.40 to £62.20 - a bargain.
Although it looks very smart in dgardel's installation.

It is Thumbs Up

Mine arrived from Conrad UK a couple of weeks ago - just got to get it fitted now.

The reason it is expensive is because it can also be connected to the Air Con and used as a form of climate control.

This is a link to the Checktemp 2 instruction, I have the CT3 and the instructions are quite different !

Wow, that could be a very cool toy to have in the landy... but fiddling with the air-con circuit? Confused

I use my Scanguage II to display air intake temperature (= outside air temperature when you're moving)

Seems (looking at the instructions, and I'm no electrician!) that the only wire one needs to touch is one of the wires going to the aircon switch.

The Checktemp then takes over control of this cicruit/switch, turning the aircon off and on to maintain the right temperature.

If this is correct then it's not quite a proper climate control system.

Or am I missing something?
