2011 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 ST Santorini Black
BF Goodrich A/T
I bought 2 sets of A/T's prior to the new model - one set 235 and one set 265. The 235's came with white lettering on one side as normal together with snow flake and mountain symbol whereas the 265's have neither symbol or white lettering. Why would that be? Confused

You can get them with and without the black lettering, you choose when you buy them (or not as the case may be, but you should be able to). If you get them with and don't want it, you can put the lettering inside.
As for the snowflake, just because one tyre size is rated for winter traction doesn't mean they all are. Skinnier tyres always will give you more traction so it's not that surprising.

H'mm, weird - my BFG A/T 265 do have the mountain and snow flake symbol (and white lettering - on the inside)... Cheers, Vincent

There are definitely two versions of the old AT KO, my spare is a non snowflake marked 265/75R16 and I believe is a different speed rating. I think it is Q rated not S.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
