Well actually yesterday but that's by the by. I unbolted my Brownchurch roofrack plus the supports to the body cappings, propped it up then cleaned the gutters and resealed them with Silkaflex. Over the years the rack has taken a few knocks, it's been shunted backwards and forwards which has caused the seal to crack and open up. So whilst the weather has been dry it seemed to be a good opportunity to stop the internal shower feature, well some of it at least.
Judging from the weather forecast we shall see on Monday if it was worthwhile. Judging by the big gaps and holes in the original sealant I am hopeful. |

Not exactly 'What did I do in my Defender today', but more what is being done on it for me...
So, having 'lost' Mamba a couple of weeks ago and currently driving around in a 2002 Pug, and having serious withdrawal symptoms, I started a new topic in My Defender to follow the build progress for my soon to be new pride and joy... Here it be > Ven's Keswick 110 Special - Build Thread... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |
