Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere but I am keen to see how other people have run cables through their Defenders for various modifications.
I am keen to start adding various mods to my new 110 but would benefit from the wealth of experience here on the best and safest way to run wires through the vehicle. I am particularly interested in wiring routes to and from an auxiliary fuse box in the drivers side, under seat to the battery box in the passenger side. Routes from the fuse panel through the headlining, routes to the back of the vehicle, running cables to the outside for things like work lights, light bars etc. and any other places people have found useful. If any of you fine folks have photos as well, that would really help. Last edited by Pjembe on 4th Oct 2015 8:00am. Edited 1 time in total |

There are some pictures on our 130 thread (sorry on my iPhone so can't put links)
We used an automotive plastic flexible conduit and glands when running externally and between under seat boxes. You can run cables under the windscreen trim up to the headlining but there's very little space so it won't be many. |
