Yorkshire Moors Green Laning
Hi All,

Just wondered whether anyone fancies meeting up on Sunday and doing the greenlanes from the most recent LRO mag? 1990 Defender 110 200TDI Camper - now converted to Td5 power

Not had chance to look at it as yet but where are they as we are up near Ingleton this weekend. So if they were the Western Dales, I might be persuadable.

Hi Barbara,

Route runs in a circle from just north of Hutton le Hole, up the Ingleby Greenhow along Rudland Rigg then across to Danby before going down through Lealholm, Glaisdale, Grosmont and Goathland. The route then goes via 3 fords to Newton on Rawcliffe.

Obviously we could pick it up in Ingleby Greenhow of it would better suit you.

Let me know if you'd be up for it.

Sorry no can do - we are over Ingleton way - nearer Lancs than North York moors. Done those lots of times tho - Rudland Rigg is best at the end of August with the heather in full bloom.
You get some cracking views from Danby Beacon provide the mist isn't down.
Hope you find someone to go with and enjoy it.
Regards
Barbara
