I've managed to get a heritage tour booked in December.
Was hoping to do an off road experience in the morning, but they don't have any drivers available. Our flight lands at birmingham at 8:30 , so will have some time to shove in before the 2pm tour. Is there a visitor centre/anything else to do /see at the factory beforehand? I'm heading to Sussex in November, travelling half way around the world to visit some school friends for our 50th. It's going to seem like a short trip to the factory from Brighton. However... Can't get a spot as it's fully booked.
If anyone knows of any availability (you are booked and can't make it, or know of someone that has a spot up for grabs for early November, please let me know. Cheers. |

I do have one ticket available for Tuesday 24. November (Tour of 9 AM). I wanted to take my wife, but she can't get a day off from work. Let me know if anyone is interested.

What was the score with taking photos on the tour? Is it worth me taking my DSLR or are they against photogrphy?

^^ Ian, can you post those factory floor snaps?
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Folks, taking sneaky photos on the production line is against all the rules and you could get your tour guide into trouble doing this 👍
Also if caught you could be asked to leave 😳 |
