Looks so much better with the boosts and minus the A bar, fantastic Defender.
Think I need to get a soft top again, but definitely a td5

I'm looking to fit some spots on the bumper, but yes I now prefer it with the A bar off.

Somehow the silver Boosts work on this 90, and the grey Tornadoes with Montalcino

What rag n cage combo is it Martin?

All Wheel Trim hood on a Frogs Island cage - back in the day when no-one else did cages!

I never knew Frogs did them. I was expecting Safety Devices/Exmoor combo. (2500£) ish.
Will have to be next year, as I have a brand spanking truck cab waiting to go on already

This was back in year 2000, other options are now available (not even sure Frogs do it any more

All Wheel Trim are still making hoods though

As a NAS replica I think it looked better before, but the boosts and no a bar, do make it look more TD5 era/modern.

I like the way you painted the wing mirror covers and arms body coloured back in 2000, now loads of people do it.

I was only 8 in 2000

Sorry Nick, just seen your question - yes a lot of the parts came from Yarnolds, back in the day

Few jobs crossed off the list...

Winter pack is now fully fitted

Pilkington heated screen fitted and the Puma XS seats wired up. I'm a very happy and warm boy

Puma switches were fitted into the existing dash panel using switch carriers cut from a 2002MY Td5 centre console, aluminium strip, a Dremel and plastic welding

Had to fix a broken solder joint to the thermal switch inside the driver's backrest but fortunately a relatively easy repair.

What you can't see is the totally re-loomed dash cluster, replacing the old spaghetti from incremental retrofits

Also fitted a tailgate switch for the courtesy lights, and now it's dark and gloomy I've mounted a pair of spotlights on the bumper with a new loom too - replacing the ones on the A bar I took off a while back.

Can anyone spot the other retrofit item? Not easy admittedly on that pic

A tacho, or the XS trim gearknob? !!

I have a question, with the hood and cage combo, do you need the normal soft top pieces for above the screen and doors...I'm so close to getting my 90 NAS topped, though not sure what to order exactly?

Both of those have been fitted for some time.

Yes you need the windscreen rail and door surrounds.
