Presume you asked your dealer. What did they say? Otherwise call Emil Frey direct. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Thanks for replying. Wish I could afford Emil Frey. Asking the dealer sounds like a great suggestion. Will try.

Who is your dealer? An official JLR one I presume?
If worse comes to worst, (which hard to believe with a official JLR dealer here in Switzerland), there are dozens of brand new Defenders of all types offered on the Swiss autoscout website. Recently there still was a fully loaded Heritage 110 offered by a dealer at the original official price, but that one is gone now, today there is another loaded Heritage 110, as well as a Autobiography, but from a expensive trader. There is a selection of dozens of other new Defenders though, from official dealers and without a markup. Hope you get your original deal resolved, but you have a back stop. Who is my dealer? Well, it's not the one who justified the price tags on his defenders with the comment: «Switzerland is a high-priced country, Land Rover is taking this into account. Defenders built for Swiss customers are different, way better, you know.» He was serious. I also did not order from the dealer who told me: «Well, of course you can get your Defender in Germany. It's just that they might sell you a used one and claim it's brand new.» These were both official JLR Dealers.
I eventually ended up ordering in Germany. Cheers, Chris |

Chris, have you had confirmation that the Defender will arrive in the colour you originally ordered?

Mine's havana - it looks like a different colour every time the light changes.

It came to the dealer in santorini black. Apparently my order was placed 5 days after they stopped making it in havanna. They offered to repaint it in original JLR-havana and I agreed.

JLR or the dealer agreed?
Sounds quite generous of them |
