I think I got sunburnt. Who would have thought it after the last couple of weeks? Spent 3 hours driving up in miserable fog too.

Thank you for your kind word lads. We do try to be helpful and informative about the products we sell.
One of the difficulties with selling items for Defenders is not only the build tolerance of the Defender but the different modifications that different owners do over the life span of a single Defender. Brendan |

Everyone was friendly.
From the rubber matting guy who didn't mind my non standard measurements to the tool selling chap who just lent me his tape measure so I could double check some internal measurements in one of the show Defenders. It seemed a very friendly day overall. 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |

Totally agree. Big thumbs up for Brendan & Barbara Despite being extremely busy, they still had time to chat and answer questions.

I must admit whilst looking that I was mildly puzzled to see this chap come marching over to the back of the 90 on the JLR display and start measuring up the inside.
It all becomes clear now |

Only criticism of customers was that they did not cadge cake to the usual extent and as a result have had to export some to Germany and bring some home. Definitely over catered this time so it is going into school tomorrow.
Regard Barbara Ps we aim to please -anybody can sell but not everyone can back it up on the service front. |

Well the show must have been reasonably busy. We did not have the usual suspects of fellow traders coming onto the stand cadging coffee and cake!
We even had to export beer to Germany rather then bring it back to Yorkshire. At least one fellow trader is in the dog house as they did not bring along the normal token of red wine! Standards are definitely slipping! Brendan |
