It's become quite a list; sound proofing, double din sat nav, reversing camera, front and rear sensors, rear lights, noldens, front bumper with DRLs, steering guard, speaker upgrade and a few other odds and sods.
Price, well yes ... certainly not cheap, but my 110 is a keeper so there's a long amortisation period I'm justifying this by ![]() |

Thanks Northern.
Funny isn't it. I started out thinking that I would keep her completely original. 'Just' a great workhorse for various weekend duties, my shooting bus and, well, because I've always loved them. Less than a year into ownership and I'm following the well worn path of individualisation ![]() What's more, I'm already thinking about further mods for a return visit next year; remap, wheels, perhaps running gear. They do get under your skin ... |

Yeah it really is. I'll be honest do a stage one now. Don't wait! Makes one hell of a difference.
They're good blokes there and they look after you, do a proper job. I'm on similar mod path! |

Update post collection.
I've done a fair bit of driving since collecting Judy from Twisted 2 weeks ago today. The stage 1 remap really does make a difference. It's subtle, but unmistakably there; just more power and torque throughout the gears and rev range, much more user friendly for day to day driving. The sound proofing has certainly helped too. I could live with it before; a 1,000 mile holiday trip to Scotland earlier this year demonstrated that, including a 10 hour trip home. But, the sound proofing has just taken the 'edge' off, so now after a drive I don't have the same residual noise in my ears. The rear camera and front and rear sensors are a big help. I know, they're not needed and many drive without any such aids. But I find they're a nice assistance and just take a bit of the guess work out. The rear work light is also very helpful. When I used to reverse on to my drive at night I had to be extra careful about a low wall on my neighbour's side. Now I just switch on the light and everything is lit up in a very helpful manner. I honestly thought this may be a bit bling, but it really is helpful for reversing at night. As for the other bits, well yes they are certainly in the 'just for the hell of it' camp, but I do really like them; the bumper DRLs I think look great, the Nolden headlights are a big improvement, the steering guard finishes off the look of the front end, the NAS rear step looks good and also houses the rear sensors, having the tow socket in the proper hole looks so much better, the interior LED footwell lighting looks great when being used in the dark, the leather dash top trim has really grown on me, the raised cubby box is much much better - I can now rest my elbow when driving, and the rear LED indicators etc I think really suit the Corris Grey colour. Quality of workmanship is excellent. Very satisfied indeed. |
