Nice keep up the good work I've got a 90 xs in corris? This is the kind of look I want thinking of getting a 2nd set of boost alloys and doing them black

Very nice! I wish I could get some of these here in NZ - over here it's factory standard or nothing!

Mail order mate!
You save the 20% VAT which basically covers the shipping costs! YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

Yes I've used mail order for a few things (well, most of what I've added to the car now I come to think about it!).
It does work out OK for the smaller items, but for the larger stuff the NZ Customs ping you for GST, import duty and a processing levy. Plus of course the exchange rate is tanking at the moment. |

WOW! In OZ, all that is 'ignored' by customs if the value is less that $900... which covers most things!
I also used the 'excess baggage' option when I come back from my UK visits! This was great for my 110 that was all decked up in 'bling' etc! With than now sold, there is nothing to do on my 90 however... keeping it Keswick and 'factory' YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

Another little add on arrived today so I offered it up to check the fit. Will fix down over the weekend with black head rivets.
Didn't want an entire bonnet cover but this will protect the paint on shoot days when people seem to decide a Defenders bonnet is an ideal place to rest things Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |

Once the wheels are on I will take some better photos in better surroundings, I'll put it on my paddock and get some good all round shots. 2016 D4 HSE

I am SO pleased with the transformation in the look of the Defender now it has black wheels. The Silver Boost are great wheels but they just didn't fit in my grey & black combination scheme I had in mind.
Some pictures taken this afternoon. (The bonnet chequer plate is not fixed down but I wanted to see what it looked like) Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |
