Good discussion! Very Happy

I used to own and 'track' several high performance modified Lotus Exige cars. NOTHING worse than 'understeer' that takes you as a helpless 'passenger' to the scene of the 'accident'! At least you can 'do' something with 'oversteer'!

Anyway, hopefully my diesel Defender, with its ABS, TC, ESP, ABC, 123 etc etc Laughing will never manage to get me in a situation where this is a consideration!

I am buying a full set of used Wrangler MT and intend to use the spare plus buy another new tyre so I will have 12mm on one axle and 7mm on the other. In another 20k miles, I would hope to have the tyres a bit more 'even' in tread depth if I don't 'rotate' them and put the new ones on the higher wearing axle... which would now appear to be the F!...
