But really a UJ, once removed, is either f***ed or it's not - as you're not going to put it back on unless it's perfect. |

So I showed mine to an ex-mechanic friend who rated mine an 8, but those look way worse!
Replaced it with a GKN part I got off ebay for £13.69. Rattle now cured! A nice straightforward, satisfying job with a positive outcome! |

If that is off your own vehicle then you should go and stand in the corner and hang your head in shame. That is terrible and must have been bad for a long time, not the sort of thing you could ignore for very long unless you have absolutely no mechanical sympathy. |
