I prefer the black grill , but if everyone was the same it would be a boring world.

Now that's more like it!!! Great responses just about what I expected, thanks for the feedback. Still deciding and beacause I am still deciding I would bet that is beacause I really don't like it that much, maybe too much for me. We'll see.

Makes it look cheap. It's lighter/brighter than your boost rims will be.

While you're asking loose the lights on the bumper - and sell them to someone with a Vauxhall Corsa and dreams of rallying... Whistle

Lights are definitely coming off, also no one over here knows what the heck a Vauxhall is anyway. Laughing The lights will sell easily enough. Once done it will be set up for longer expedition drving, winch bumper, winch etc. imy current ride is just too small now. I have built up a few Land Rovers over the yarrs just never done a nice looking 110 like this. The missus will have to like it too not just me.

Did not like the all black grill and bezels

Each to his own, it does not matter in the end what other people think and say everyone is entitled to their own personal view, (though you did ask for peoples thoughts), in the end if you like the silver grill and finishers and think they look good, then that’s fine. My personal observation is that they are a little bright, perhaps you could achieve the same effect, but a little less bling by fitting a stainless steel set available from eBay and the like.

/\/\/\/\ or remove the plastic headlamp surrounds (entirely) and colour code the stainless jobbies and repaint/powdercoat the stainless grill satin black.Imo,the Defender is to big a vehicle to colour code.White one's look like gigantic chest freezers, lol.Nevah liked them plastic surrounds either.
Before..

Jimbob been thinking about that option too! Looks good, monochrome colour coded light bezrl or surrounds and the grill looks much better than the plastic drabness. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)

Just found the combination of what I think I'm looking for... Much better than the brilliant stainless colour, more subdued and complimentary.

Is that a tropical roof on a Defender? I didn't know you could still do that?

Its a Series III leafer with five speed, 300Tdi, disco final drive, airco, Wolf Rims, front disc brakes and list goes on. The front end had to be extended to fit the 300 Tdi properly so a Defender bonnet and grill was needed. All other panels are NADA original. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)

Not a fan of the bling... Either a subtle silver or standard black for me.
