South Africa 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Keswick Green
Hi Tim,

No, none flashing, ABS and TC lights just stay on, but I found the problem!! The Left read wheel speed sensor had sheared of on the plastic housing on top, and the broken off piece had been forced a little way up the cable, taking the insulation with it... I see the cable is a 2 core, very thin white cable, so I assume its here where the short is occurring. I didn't have many options to fix it up, but seperated the wires from the two different cores with a stanley knife, then popped some pratley putty in between hoping it would dry out nicely and keep them seperated... No luck though, lights still on Sad

I have checked all the fuses as well and no faults there, so I'm sure ive got it! Only thing is I prob need a new sensor to solve this one, as the remainder of the plastic housing on the sensor is not removable, so i cant get in there to re-insulate the wires...

New sensor here i come, hoping its not too expensive!!

Cool
