I would say Trek are being pretty responsible, loads of bikes use the same part and they are the only ones to recall.

Mudguards - very civilised.

Why do so many ride without them? The skunk stripe is not a good look.

Just reading this article:

http://www.pinkbike.com/news/revolution-bi...-2015.html

and see they use a fleet of Defenders for uplifts:

You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I owned a Bike Shop for 18 Years so I have had my Fair Share of Bikes, Road & Mountain, from various Brands.
But I'd never had a Specialized so around this time last year I decided to treat myself.
Bought it as a Frame & built it up to my spec.

Here's my Specialized S-Works Enduro 29er

Looks very nice - what have you spec'd that up with and how's it going now?

Bought myself this recently, it's a Cube Attention SL. Nowhere near as expensive and capable as some of the others on here, but it's just for forest tracks and taking on holiday etc. It fits on the roof of the 90 well 👍

Judging by the cost of the things these days, it's not a young man's game anymore. Most guys I see on the hills/forest tracks are over 50.
