Matt,
I'd like to see the 3.5" mid range... What size is the sub? |

We've produced a 'reducing ring' to fit the speakers in the standard dash holes and then used 4" grills so not a lot to see really.
The sub is the Hertz one in a aluminium case, the 8" F20 |

So the 3.5" goes under the dash where the original speakers are, and the 5.25" goes under the front seats?

Hi Henry, yes, that's right.
Steve, the amp is under the custom cubby box. Weight has not been an issue. |

I've had in mind the rear door sub idea long while (and some others) but in my case I haven't for practical reasons because I carry our dogs and sometimes hay bales and that extra room makes all the difference.
Not to mention you can't get kit like that damp wet and dirty. Probably hits hard though as it's mounting is so secure. |

To be honest, for my style of driving the standard LR brakes are more than adequate, I only fitted the front AP's as they were cheap and add a bit of bling so I won't rush to do the rears

Matt, she's looking fantastic.
Did you have to do any relocation in the seat boxes to fit the speakers in? (I'm guessing you may need to move the battery, and possibly some parts around under the drivers side too? Do you have any photos by chance? I feel like the front 4" mounts are somewhat restrictive, and as ours is a double cab 110 there is very little that can be done in the back apart from a sub under the seat. I like the 3 way front component idea, but am slightly worried by the flippin' massive holes that need to be cut in each seat box! Alex 110 Tdci Double Cab |

You're right of course. When We ordered our new HSV GTO Coupe (6L LS2), we optioned the AP 6 spot brakes, front & rear, and they LOOKED brilliant behind the 19" wheels, and they worked even better. BUT, with the sort of driving we did, the standard brakes (front & rear) would've been just fine, but the APs definitely "added" something to the car. So, I agree, for sure you don't "need" 'em, but if you could find some matching rears, at the right money, I'm sure they'd just "add' a bit more to your vehicle too. "Bling"?...for sure, some of that in the equation too, but,....."Quality" Bling?! Regards, Pickles. |

Hi Alex, sorry, only just spotted this. No, nothing needed to be relocated, there's plenty of room. Pictures when it stops raining or the workshop is finished, whichever comes first |
