Forgot to add that the very first modification was to fit a Skytag.

Only a two wire connection, better to be safe than sorry ...

What is the procedure for moving a vehicle with a Skytag or similar tracker?
Do you have to phone them & say your moving it/parking it each time? Seems like easy to forget... I really like your red & black colour scheme. Is it standard or custom? Looks nicer than the Fire (UK didn't get) a couple of years ago.

Thank you Bow down

The red is Firenze which is standard from the factory and the roof is Santorini which is an option from the factory, all else was my design and carried out by the supplying dealer

In its standard form, you would notify Skytag if your vehicle was stolen however you can pay to have the option to be notified by text if your vehicle moves from a designated area, ie a airport car park

More info on the Skytag website Thumbs Up

Technically you're right but as two of them go to the same place there are only two connections to make.

My point is they are easy to fit and I really don't care wether people buy through FCX or whoever just get one (or any other type of tracker) fitted before it's too late !

Thanks. I'm thinking of getting one in the next month, I'll check the site out.

Ideally I'd like 2, as belt & braces, but I'll have to see if ST will cut the 2nd's price if I buy 2 together.

Do you recommend a battery change (my OE is still OK)? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

No need for a battery change, the Skytag unit has a built in battery and Skytag will text you if the power fails on your vehicle battery.

You won't get a better price out of Skytag direct, the best price is the forum group buy Thumbs Up
