Yeah when the Mrs complained about the sand on the drive and the garage smelling like a crab's ass - little did she know it could have been so much worse!
There were some great pictures of the day but these two cropped up on the Lowrangers site that both amused and disturbed me! I think when we said pose on your vehicles, some people got the wrong idea!! Thank you to John Owen Maritime Officer Anglesey
................................................................................. Hello John, Defender Tribute Red Wharf Bay 2015 Just a follow up note of thanks for your help with our event. We really enjoyed our weekend in Anglesey and Red Wharf Bay, the beach holding particular significance for us, was good to see close up in our vehicles. Please see attached a Photograph of our 'beach line up', which you are free to use as you wish. Many thanks from all those who attended, furthest Holland, nearest North Wales, we also had the Local Flood Rescue Team and Achub Mynydd Mountain Rescue Defenders in attendance. thanks again John Martin Click image to enlarge SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

The photographer (Ian Egerton) has created a really nice souvenir type picture of the event for everyone to have. He's made a high res downloadable version available for free but if anyone would like an A4 laminated version, I can probably do them for about £4.99 delivered with any profit going to the GLASS fighting fund.

Don't no what to tell you mate. I've just used the link and selected download then opened the picture and expanded it to A3.
I've also inserted it into a word document to about the same size. Quality hi res image for me and only pixilates at silly size. In fact I could put it on a 6ft banner in good quality Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos. |

I can almost read the number plates when zoomed in. Seems pretty high resolution to me. I went to the page and hit the small "download" link at the right hand side. Does that give you a better image?
By the way, does anyone have any pics of my trusty steed powering through the water? Black 110 utility with white wolf wheels regs ending NSN. I seem to recall charging through some water heading for the photographer and would love a copy of any pics, unless of course I splashed the camera equipment and damaged it in which case it wasn't me it was one of the others Thanks Craig (Can message you my email address) 2015 110 USW XS in Santorini with premium contrast leather seats in tan/black, black headlining and with Dual Finish alloys (in the garage, now on Wolf rims with Goodyear MT/Rs) 2012 '62' 2.2 X-Tech 110 USW now gone ... 1984 90 soft top with full roll cage, 200 tdi engine etc now sold 2012 USW XS 2.2 "FUU" now gone.... |

Ah right OK. I hadn't fully thought it through. Either cheques posted I guess or paypal gift. I'll ask everyone again how best to pay any profits to the rescue guys. Basically just PM me and we can sort it out. If anyone see's a shot of their motor they like, I can probably do the same thing with that. LRM article is done and just waiting final pics from the photographer. Once it's submitted and agreed I'll give you all the detail on which issue it will be in.
