Fitted an Outback brand drawer today. I always tell my son, instructions are a last resort, and in the end, I ignored them and did it my way.

Can feel the extra weight on the door though. A tyre carrier soon I think. Jeff |

I have never lifted up Sawtooths, but you can see the Wolf rims are thicker steel than the standard steel wheels when you look at the axle cut out.

I originally ordered the standard rims with 7.50 tyres, but changed my order late. I wasn't sure I had changed it in time, so I was not sure which rims it would come with until I walked into the dealers. I actually prefer the look of the standard rims, but wanted the wider ones in case I want to run wider tyres at a later date.

I was going to buy some bumperettes, but the person selling the ones I was interested in would not answer either his email or phone, so I figured I could make them myself. With the money I saved I bought a horizontal bandsaw.

Does anybody know where this goes? It is an M6 nut with integral washer I found on the rear floor, but can't find anything missing. It has the same finish as the other bolts in the Puma, so should be from somewhere.

Added some Dynamat to the rear. Getting sick of stones making so much noise in the rear wheel arches.

Weight of a genuine Wolf wheel is 16.2 KG. Think a genuine Sawtooth alloy is about 12 to 13 KG. Add to that the weight of a standard size 235/85R16 tire, and depending on the specific tire, you will get to a total weight for HD Wolf+tire combo of between 34.5 and 35.5 KG. (I weighed mine). Add a few more KG for the standard wheel support, and you will have around 36/38 KG hanging on that relatively flimsy rear safari door.... So, install an Australian made Kaymar wheel carrier. Strongest wheel carrier on earth and very high quality as proven by mine which is already on the SVX for almost 6 years now. No rust, no rambling, no play, and no drilling into the car body panels.
