I've got one of those, just gloss black as standard with a circular decal on it.
Needs relaxing now though due to age but they are or were often on eBay.

Well I bent the lip of the door half way up the door and it rippled by the bottom hinge. So it's Censored !

So far it's cost me £470 for a new genuine door and new seals, just got to find some one to paint it and hope that the damage didn't go further than the door when I go to fit a new one. Russell

Shiny new bits arrived for a 90 I haven't got yet Smile

Thanks To Pete at BAS for speedy delivery of spangly new intercooler, silicone hoses, BAS2 remap tool and a new ECU

Dropped the intercooler off at the garage for them to fit and chose the final interior spec

Only a few weeks now ...very exciting Very Happy Puma 2.2 90 Stationwagon

Collected it from Harwoods after its Heavy Service and odd jobs doing.

As usual, fantastic service all the way through and a Freelander 2 as courtesy car.

Been a bit quiet regarding updates recently as my laptop is still very ill with half the screen not working and soo many error messages but now the home PC is back up and running I should be able to start doing more regular updates again and updating my running restoration more Thumbs Up Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Collected from the dealer after a new clutch from the usual clutch rattle! Removed the nas step and fitted the adjustable tow bar, gave it a good clean and polish and a top up of dinatrol. All ready for its trip to South of Spain.

Landy Andy I'd weld that up for now, it will get you going until you can get a replacement.

Have found a couple of second hand units, and hope to have one in a couple of days.

Can it be welded with a standard DIY stick welder? And with normal rods?
