push the button lock on the inside up and down, it will eventually unlock......it's a feature.

Same problem on mine .....have you tried pushing the door inwards keeping the pressure on then unlock it ....it worked for me!.......the mechanism is a little tight .....it loosened itself at about 1000 miles..... |

There is no more travel inwards, it seems to be as if it is jammed solid, IE too tight ! LR Defender 110 XS Utility Wagon

try it the other way pushing from the inside and then try the lock from the inside ot get someone else to use the key and handle from outside .............try holding the outside handle pressing upwards and try the fob to open ........if this does not work i would take it to the dealet...good luck!
