Fuel pump interchangeability
Hello all, can anyone tell me whether defender 90 Td5 fuel pumps are the same as discovery TD5 fuel pumps and if so are they interchangeable ? I have been offered a genuine Discovery TD5 pump and thought it would be good to have as a spare. Thanks in advance, Chris

I think the only difference is the fuel level sensor which can be easily swapped over.

They are interchangeable, as said the sender is different. Someone fitted a Def one in my Disco, which is why the light comes on with a mere 40L left....... At least I should never run dry!
