BAS2 RRC
Hi All. I've been thinking about upgrading my Bow down BAS remap to the above, incorporating the 'smooth Autobiography' 150 remap. I have already PM Pete on this. What I am asking is your opinions on the process, do I need a PC, ease of install and does the tune remove the kangaroo erect a slow speeds. Etc.

Many thanks in advance Myn. Smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast.

Simple - do it Thumbs Up

I am currently running the 150 AB smooth tune on my 90 and it is excellent. No hint of any hopping about at slow speed, no clunks from the drive train etc. It is far better than the original LR map and you will be very pleased with it I am sure. In fact I have the 170 smooth map as well but have not put it on the vehicle yet as I am so pleased with the 150 map.

Getting it onto the unlocked ECU is very simple. You download the specific map for your vehicle from the web onto a PC, transfer it to the RRC and then use an IPAD or Andriod device to load it into the ECU (I used the latter).

There are full instructions on what to do on Pete's site, follow them exactly as written and all will be OK.

From download to running vehicle took me about twenty minutes.

Currently using a 2.2 110 with the BAS2 170 power tune Thumbs Up very impressed,, far better than the BAS tune i has on the 11 plate 2.4 (but then Pete has done a load of work over the last 4 year Bow down )

All as Bob says, you need a PC to load the map onto the Bas2 unit, then all is done via a smart phone or tablet

Not tried the 170AB as yet, but all loaded on the Bas2 ready Very Happy California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

You can run the update on a Mac too if you dont have a PC.

Hi all. Just installed the new 150 remap. What a difference Thumbs Up so much more drivable, better power delivery and drive train noise eliminated. Pete you are a God amongst men. Bow down Bow down
