Puma, not starting and no dash
Hi every one, wonder if any one could help, got a really strange fault on my 57 plate 90, somehow i have lost all my dash lights/ fuel gauge/ temp gauge, only warning light that is working is the handbrake warning light!! Lights wipers ect is working fine...

And on top of that she has decided to stop starting too, when i turn the key the starter motor would engage for about a second and then drop out, if im really lucky she'll turn over as normal, fire up for about two seconds and then cut out, that only happens about one out of ten times, still with only thehanbrake light on.....

OBDII connects and shows no faults.... Any help would be greatly apreciated!!

I'd be looking for a broken earth strap. if as you say fuses are all intact...

Did you check all the fuses in both fuse boxes and the large fuse in the drivers seat box?

Has any work been done on the vehicle recently?

The (non) starting issue has the symptoms of an immobiliser fault.

Check the plug in the rear of the instrument panel, IIRC the immobiliser/alarm connects to the engine ECU (EMS) via this and the EMS controls whether the starter operates. A problem with this connector or (hopefully not) with the instrument pack could cause the problems you are having.

You say ODBII shows no faults, what code reader are you using, most generic ones only connect to the EMS. You need to check the instrument pack and alarm unit for fault codes as well.
