Hi Forest
They said October, but that wasn't set in stone. should be similar time to yours I would think. Have now gone over budget as was only supposed to get a van for work and reclaim the VAT. |

Nice one Steve... Did you see the Walk Around video just posted by Forest... Meanwhile, mine is now officially cancelled, even though the squealer tried to change my mind by offering up an SW she had just sourced... Job done, decision made, I am out of this here Celebration... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |

Steve, great news. I love all defenders but the heritage looks so nice. I'm glad you got your SW. |

Hi. I'm new on here, so apologies if anything has been covered before. I've got a Heritage 90 SW on order, but I don't think I'm going to proceed. I discovered that it is not possible to add aircon as an option, and that the Heritage seems to just be a base model with nice paint, fancy seat covers, and a few decals.
I've just bought a pre registered 90 XS SW for about the same money as the Heritage would have cost, but with all the bells and whistles. Not sure what to do about the Heritage order. Buy it anyway, and lock it up for 25 years, buy it and sell it, or just cancel the order? Any suggestions? Cheers. |

Cancel the order. Tell land rover why you are not happy, ie aircon issue.
This allows someone else the opportunity of having a heritage, reminds land rover that the customer matters and gives those who would like aircon a slightly better chance of arguing the toss with land rover. Buying to sell on or to mothball is wrong, in my view. You will have a great deal of interest if you sell it. Dealers and traders are hunting them down, not to mention enthusiasts. There will be 400 heritage of which maybe 130 station wagons? Supply is never going to meet demand. All defenders are special, I think that the heritage may just be a little more so. Just my thoughts. Good luck with your decision.
