I've cancelled the order, so Marshalls in Peterborough should have a spare one now.

Yes indeed!
My dealer has 8 other on 'standby' if any of the Heritage edition purchasers fall though. He showed me the email list with all of them having put down a 1k refundable deposit! YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

That's really good news.
I always hoped they would end production with the same 'model' as the first 'HUE' that rolled off the line all those years ago. That just seems to be more appropriate rather than to have just a 'standard' production model lined up to be the last... YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

A little confused as I received a Facebook update from Land Rover Experience - Solihull that stated: "The first 5 production Land Rover Defender Heritage Limited Editions with 1948 Land Rover pre production prototype 16 at the Lode Lane gate." It was dated yesterday 17th July, but surely must have been earlier? Mine was supposed to commence build on 7th July?
Also a nice video from Land Rover of a Heritage SW on a beach in Anglesey, UK. No idea how to share it from Facebook |

I attended a celebration tour this week. Lots of heritage models being produced along with adventure. Both models looked great although the heritage has something unique about it, very appropriate. That said, my heritage is still programmed for late December. I suspect that the celebration models currentrly being manufactured are destined for overseas. Anyone who has a celebration model should feel very proud, the all look great, especially the orange adventure

Hi nidge, Maybe you saw mine, it was a Grasmere Green RHD, with A/C & a wireless I Agree with you that they all look great & I too like the orange adventure, but not sure my wife would have liked that. Wish I could have popped across to attend a celebration tour. Maybe the 70th anniversary will be a good time? I also would be interested to find out what the country split is for the Heritage model, as we know 400 for the UK 300 for Switzerland & I saw somewhere that 100 for Australia, so with a total of 2,654 being built where are all the rest going? |

You will get us kicked off the forum if you mention A/C. I read it somewhere about the 100 to Oz but can't remember where.
