More pics?...Very good. Some 3/4 (taken at 45 degree angle) full vehicle shots taken around the full vehicle would be good. Pickles. |

according to the dealer there are three or four in the copper/black combo. The best thing about the whole vehicle is the quality of the interior, way better than my Range rover. We drove over in the SVX which has had quite a bit of tweaking done under the bonnet and the new one didn't feel that much slower.
Thanks for the comments and hope that you guys who have got one or due to get one enjoy the experience. |

interesting how you say it`s better quality than your range rover. I must so it does look impressive
wonder what the quality of my poverty spec Heritage 90SW will be like? |

I have just been told mine will be September - which is great timing for me
I have gone for the Matt grey like the launch car 2500 extra but looks stunning - I saw the factory car in the flesh |

Just going to lift my head out of the trench so it might get blown off. I am the only one to think the AB and the rest of the celebration models are lacking in anything other than marketing spin. There is nothing new and nothing special. The only 2 defender special editions are the 50th and the svx soft top all the rest are just bolt on bits and colour changes. Is there not something wrong with there being an AB Defender, as in it is a contradiction in terms. I love a tricked defender but these in my opinion are just not cool and maybe even naff. I can see the bullets flying around my head already. The AB has standard wheels even ! maybe it is just me but the whole "celebration" thing is a bit of the emperors new clothes.

what has attracted me to it is that there are only 80 UK cars and a further 100 worldwide
But i do take your point - there will be copies - there are already some people doing their own versions of a 'celebration' vehicle. but which will be worth more in 5 years - a factory car or a N~~e O~~~~~~d copy that costs the same now? |

I was leaving the money out of it. If it was about that we would all buy an old 911 and it could double its value in 5 years.
Not sure I believe LR about the numbers it means they can add or reduce as required it will be impossible to check it out. With regard to N**NE overL*** there is a reason the initials spell NO! |

Before mine was delivered I might have agreed with CR in the above post.I toyed with buying a standard spec 90 and adding upgrades to it but time and my location in the north east meant that it would be easier to go for the A/B, any negative thoughts I had about the price went out the window when I took delivery of it.My only niggle is that it should have come with a numbered plaque(as others have said)
When the SVX first came out were they not very slow to move off the forecourts due to the price? and yet now they seem to be holding steady for a decent example and the 50th's are becoming good news as well. Right,im off into my garage to lick my new dash and generally squeeze my leather bits, her indoors in now giving me hassle as she wants more leather in the SVX.
