Which paints are a £6-9k option on L405's?
The one I was in today was remarkably, very well in the leather department!! (I'm having the same issues in the L405, as are many I think!) Luckily it seems better in these...**Fingers Crossed** An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

The contrast paints for the Defender Autobiography are part of the 'Autobiography' palette only normally available on the L405 and at a significant cost option.
Glad SVO seem to be better at leather than the line! What issues are you facing with your L405? Dealer assures me it is just me despite every RR and RRS in the showroom having saggy leather. 2016 Defender Adventure 110 2015 Defender Autobiography 90 2016 Defender V8 Classic Works 90 2020 Defender 110 P400 X |

Totally agree with you! SUCH a simple thing to do... at almost no cost... Would have really added to the significance of the 'Celebration' Editions... YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

I really can't think of a good reason why they wouldn't number them. The only thing I've come up with is that it gives you the flexibility to make more / less of them than you originally said you would. Although they've all got to have an individual chassis number and somewhere there will be a record of which chassis numbers were assigned to the celebration editions, so I suppose someone would be able to find out if it was a genuine factory celebration edition through that. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Hi Didster,
I hope you had been able to enjoy your AB over the weekend. Congratulations for such wonderful truck. As mentioned earlier, any further insights regarding first impressions on specific features, quality, engine would be great. Wish we knew when the ABs are coming to CH and till then highly appreciate you sharing your experience! Many thanks |

Hi,
Well, it is rather lovely. Ill set the price/value stuff aside as that's sort of got to be irrelevant, right??! The finish is lovely, same standard as my Range Rover, I don't have a semi analine leather in that so cant compare but it seems just fine. No marks or blemishes I can find. I cant make comparison to a normal tdci as my other Defender is a 2001 td5 (slightly modified..) but it drives very nicely, plenty of torque and power. Drove a tdci xs briefly a while ago and from memory this is much quieter, better power delivery. Of course the steering wheel isn't on straight but I assume that adds to the authentic character!! No photos as I didn't want to get it wet, but ill get some this weekend. Various... |

Yes...the leather quality is absolutely shocking. It was sagging and creased at handover. LR have so far replaced the whole rear seat bench and parts are on back order to replace the front seat backs due to deep indentations caused by upper backrest seat movement. I am not alone either! 2016 Defender Adventure 110 2015 Defender Autobiography 90 2016 Defender V8 Classic Works 90 2020 Defender 110 P400 X |
