Next bit of kit to be installed pictured below. Eric is bringing back his SVX from a week under the care of Olaf. In the back of his Defender he is kindly bringing back some Entreq bits for me too
Olaf went out of his way to guide me and paint in Keswick green front surrounds and light guards for the Hunter. I look forward to getting them fitted and coming a little closer to the final external modifications done to my Hunter. Click image to enlarge |

^^ depends a bit on me.... Not before I will decide to release these bits to kitoper. by the way, there is another nice SS bit wrapped in brown paper which is not in the picture. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

This evening I had a call with my colleagues on the other side of the pond, so instead of sitting at my desk, I decided to do something more constructive while waiting for the call.
I went down to the garage made the Hunter even greener Click image to enlarge |

Thank you Eric and Steve - as Eric and I discussed the other day, a Land Rover is an unfinished product to be completed by its owner. This is just one of the reasons why we like them so much. The fact that people like Olaf get passionate enough about them to make such quality products makes completing the Defenders a little easier. When I felt the quality of the pieces, the paint work, the rubber separators and protection pieces to make sure painted metal does not touch painted metal, the screws supplied, and the way everything fit together so perfectly, installing this upgrade became a real pleasure.

Fits the Hunter like a fine leather glove. Will be happy to take a closer look tomorrow. Good choice you made there. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
