Poly Bush fitting Question
Hi guys

Going to fit my new poly bushes tomorrow, do i need to jack the vehicle up to remove the radius arms, part of me is saying i don't but rather be safe than sorry Smile Graham

I did mine recently,
not saying its the best way but i put an axle stand under the chassis & let the axle hang on the shocker, then with a trolly jack under the axle i was able to raise or lower the axle & even move it forward & backward to a certain extent to get the big bush in the back of the arm

No need to do anything, just remove one radius arm at a time, (chock the wheels), fit the bushes, refit the arm.. remove the next. Thumbs Up

Leave wheels on, don't jack anything up.

Like GREENI said, one side at a time, no jacking required. You will need to pop one end of the track rod and allow it to drop to the ground and may need a bit of pulling and grunting to get things to line up when refitting. An assistant to roll the road wheel backwards or forwards as required makes it a lot easier.

I have been wheeling my Bowler project around the workshop for a couple of years when it's been in the way and only just noticed it has a radius arm missing!
