Just changed the wheels/tyres over to the Summer set.
While I had a front wheel off the ground, I noticed what I think is a high degree of backlash between the wheel and the propshaft - 22 degrees to be precise (around 165mm on the tyre). I know it's an old piece of kit but is it a case of "They all do that, Sir, it's a Land Rover" or do I now have something else I need to add to the refurbishment list? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1989 Defender 90 Toyota Aygo & Honda FR-V |
