They are great bits of kit, all except their cubby boxes of course ours are much better
![]() ![]() We've been supplying MSS opening glove boxes as an option on our leather dashes for some years now and they are easily the best on the market and made in the UK |

The build quality is fab, as well as the amount of weight you can fit in them...
I bought a foam insert for the shotguns which keeps them secure enough to more than satisfy the police. ![]() |

Yes MSS drawers are good, originally made by Nigel who then sold company to Tim and Clare at Trek.
We have them fitted to both our 110's and they have seen good use. A couple of points to bear in mind. Chequer plate tops are very slippery so things can move around easily on top of the chequer plate. So either lash items down or consider something like carpet or anti slip mat on top. Chequer plate is not the easiest of things to clean if you spill anything on it. If you are going to be carrying very heavy items in the drawer unit consider Safari Equip drawers which uses probably the heaviest rated sliders in 4x4 drawer units. Their drawers also come with carpeted tops as well. Both drawer systems are made in Yorkshire. ![]() The MSS stack and store system is good providing a ready pantry whilst travelling. Brendan |

Brendan has made a very good point regarding the chequer plate tops, it is certainly worth laying some carpet or rubber on top.
Of course when the carpet gets soiled it's easier to replace or take out and clean if its separate and not built in to the unit |

As I've done, a big roll of rubber matting...sorted.
I considered taking the top off and soundproofing it underneath, though the matting does a good job of it. |

Apologies for the slight tangent...
Greeni, where did you find the foam inserts for shotguns? |

![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Really like it keeps all my tools and rescue kit safe. Have just ordered the chequer plate arch covers as well. Brought mine second hand, they are expensive but they feel like they may last for ever. Hopefully fit into the new generation defender. |

Thanks everyone, could you get away with not fixing the draws down, so can easily be taken out if required?
