110 Rear Axle Half Shafts
The image below is the rear axle of a 2004 110 I just bought, when switching over the wheels to my surprise it had 1 piece half shafts....

Am I right in thinking that the 2002 on rover axle on the 110 was fitted with 24 spline shafts and Drive flanges !!

Looks suspicious to me Confused

It would need checking of axle numbers but on first impressions that is a TUL Rear axle. Or a Army Wolf 90. Stronger diff but still one piece rear shafts.
A bit of detective work with a wire brush should reveal an axle number.

TUM would have a P38 diff I think. Not sure about TUL.

Tks Fellas, on further investigation trawling part numbers the shafts seam to be from a early 2004 90 24 spline rear axle

I assume there is no issue running them with the rover axle and diff

As long as the splines fit the diff (which clearly they do), no issues at all.

You won't have the pleasure of replacing the worn-out halfshafts and drive flanges every couple of years that we Puma owners do though!
