I have had the same issues on the gearbox on my 2013 DCPU after 60k miles and now 75000 miles. However, after 5 weeks at the dealers its also had a new engine after oil pump failure on the motorway. Once I finally retrieve it I am afraid after 4 other Defenders I will never buy another one! Shame as I really like the vehicle but it has broken down 6 times in 23 months. The dealers have another Defender waiting to have a new engine as well as an Evoque (I didnt think they used the same engines?) It really must be a worry for owners who do low mileage and vehicle is out of warranty if it fails! Why dont they just fess up and admit they have an issue? I know it will cost them bad publicity but its a huge problem Anyway I will still keep looking at the web site as I am greatly impressed - unlike JLR  |

Yes your dead right, now at 63,582 miles got more problems engine management light on and in limp mode , Land Rover coming to look at it in the morning

Hum yet another intercooler pipe , last one dealer fitted , rubbed through from steering coloum and steering box , they had to fit the next new one as I am not quaified , Ha Ha maybe should have sent my cv , oil pump mod done same time, hope this pipe lasts longer than the last badly fitted! 2014 2.2 90 hard top , Warm M8000 , Scorpain winch bumper, Ashcroft rear atb
