Why not just get some Saab seats?

^^^^Question

Why are they Recaros? I used to have a Saab 900 2.3 and wouldn't entertain the idea of fitting the seats from that for any reason whatsoever in my Defender.

Any pictures? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Great looking seats! I love the Moto-Lita wheel too...

Can you confirm, is this the 15" flat version?
Thanks

I come back at the forum sorry for late answers :
- Yes, Recaro seats provided by Urban Truck have the back removable just as the standard seats.
- The cheaper option for the Recaro are nice in summer, it's not vinyl.
- And yes, the wheel is a 15" Motolita that I like very much.
All in one, a very nice truck! 2,4 Puma 110 SW Light gray

Just fitted my Recaros in my new 90 that I had previously in my 110, but the top side near the headrest is rubbing on the side trim by the seat belt fixing. didn't have this happen in the 110. I do have the Mud rails under the seats. Any body else had this problem ? I was thinking of spacing the mud rails with washers to tip the seat away from the side trim.

^^ So you lift the Recaros only from under the outer side rail, yes? Meaning you will be leaning very slightly to the inside, you are not really straight up any more? Is that due to the effect of having those Mud rails, or would you have that touching the side without those Mud rails also? Interesting, because in the SVX where Recaros are standard, they don't even come anywhere close to the outer sides trim. Seems that by using those Mud rails you are not getting the same effect of additional legroom versus standard seats, like you do have with the original seat fixings in the SVX.
Or, is this a problem not related to the Mud rails itself, but only to using them in a 90? I am not sure about this, but I doubt that the original SVX 90 SW had such a problem.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

2 or 3 washers (4 - 6 mm thick) under the rail is equivalent to a shift of 2 -3 cm above Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition
