Help with Gazeebo
I have been looking for a pop up gazebo,6 meter by 4.5 meter, I have spent weeks looking at what is on offer on the internet but the pictures do not always tell the truth. It is intended for use on a Caravan Rally if the British weather fails to perform.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

Edit size should read 3 x 6 meter just somewhere for others to sit and have a glass of wine while keeping the rain and breeze off them. Don't make old people mad.

Not sure what space you need inside it but we use the Coleman event shelter at the kids football galas. Northern Scotland doesn't always offer summer weather in summer for a day next to the pitch. Well built and sturdy during bad weather, couple of practice put ups may be needed to make it slick. COTAG 4x4 Response

As always it does depend on your spend.

We have been in Sainsburys car park today with this one from http://www.instantpromotion.co.uk/pro-50-range.html .

Very sturdy, well made and will stand up to wind and rain if tied down or weighted properly as ours has been today.

Although sold and smaller than the one you're after drop him a 'pm' and see what he has to say about the brand etc. perhaps? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Second vote for the Coleman event shelter. Used a couple of them with Scout groups on events/weekends away including a rather blustery weekend in the shadow of Snowdonia. Easy to put up (after the first attempt) and pretty robust. Come in 5 different sizes now as well.

hi there,

we use these for your vehicle pits at competitions and various off road events, http://www.gazeboshop.co.uk/product-catego...me-pro-50/

not cheap but have standed both the test of time and the worst Welsh winds and rain plus Croatia weather bashings (albeit in TJs for latter) Cheers

Went today and annoyed a salesman at a local outdoor store when I asked him about the Coleman shelter, the questions didn't bother him it was when I asked to see one erected with side panels. There was much panic amongst other staff moving tents and other bits , 3 of them set about erecting one bending several poles in the process ( can see that being sold as shop soiled) then putting in two side panels as that is all they had. I then had a walk round it and noticed that the panels do not reach the ground and only held in place by bits of plastic. I left them saying that it wasn't what I expected from something with the Coleman brand and that the poles bend to easy for what I want.

I know you only get what you pay for and this has been a way of life for me but I think I have found what may be a reasonable one for what I need. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330949961674?_tr...EBIDX%3AIT Don't make old people mad.

We've got a Coleman and have found it ideal. Not sure how they managed to bend the poles. 2015 Urban Truck 90XS in Havana

Hello ARC99

I have both the EZUP and Coleman Event Tent

The Domed Coleman Event Tent is ok but not 100% waterproof on the seams, view it as showerproof, I also raised the Dome to make it more usable and provide some weight on the corners, 0.5M high telegraph poles,
(see below).

The Square EZUP is 'top draw' and depending on what you want to fit underneath is possibly more usable.

As with any of these Gazeebos unless anchored / weighted
all you have really built is a large kite... be warned... Embarassed
