Centre Console removal
Hi All I am the proud owner of a 1yr old 110 XS TDCI (took delivery yesterday) and I need to fit a tracker.
I was thinking about in the void between the two circular vents above the centre console, though you die hard people might suggest other locations.
I've spent some time reading this forum and Eduardo has pm'd various people in how to remove the centre console. I've removed the two torx bolts and tried to get my fingernails below the top centre lip but it doesn't want to move and I don't want to force/break anything without knowing the correct procedure for removal.
Does any one know? or suggest a better place for housing the tracker?
I'll be grateful for any assistance here.
Thanks a bunch....

From memory, with the torx head screws removed, I think I just slid an old plastic credit card between the edge of the centre console and the panel it pushes into. Started at the bottom and gently eased each side out a bit at a time till it could easily be pulled off.

I'm sure someone else will be along shortly with other tips.

More pressure, if you've a trim removal tool or a wallpaper scraper try to spread the load and prise evenly.

From the following threads and experience the two torx screws and it'll shift. Thumbs Up
