I've got a stage 1 and I'm very happy too.
I expect the stage 2 is extremely rapid. Mines about 155hp ish. |

Is there much difference in cost between stage 1 and 2?
I guess with a stage 2 you need to upgrade the inter cooler and hoses... Stage 3 looks a bit beyond my budget!!! 2015 Overfinch Defender XS 90 1998 50th Anniversary V8 1989 90 CSW Many Discoveries... |

Yes, stage two you need hoses and intercooler upgrades.
That's why I've stayed with a stage 1. I'm still more than happy. Just depends on what you want really. |

I know its not all about bhp but i thought a stage 1 would give 170bhp and stage 2 closer to 185bhp, 460Nm of torque would be plenty though

With an Alive stage 2 remap fitted, torque is what counts with my Defender not the BHP.

Im trying to persuade Mr Gary Alive into giving me a deal on a stage 2 map, full decat exhaust and a intercooler
If not then it will be stage 1 on monday. Ill report back Davie |
