I thought that the torque curves were similar, if not better for the 2.2, so what would account for that?

My last 2.4 did have a Bas Map, But the 2.2 felt a lot behind that !! Plus 17mpg towing the S1 back !! Should have taken the RR, that does 20mpg towing, and pull's like a train ! 17mpg - didn't think it would do that with a dinky S1 on the back

Series 1 looks great Tim
Looks like youve got a proper little usable classic there. As good as money in the bank plus the enjoyment you'll get |

Guess this needs an update,,
No further issues with warning lights as when near new !! Landrover, when they built her, forgot to add any seam sealer to the lower part of the C post to rear wheel arch, Bet there are a few others out there without as well,, first sign is damp/dirt road water spray around where the lower end of rear seat belts attach to the C pillar Bar that, nothing to report really, just over 12 months old now,, and a total of 3500 odd miles, A few mods done A set of Bowler levers added, certainly an improvement, more positive gear change with a little modification Click image to enlarge Plus an update to the rear load area with the fitment of a Mantec Lugga shelf Click image to enlarge Plus sorted the rear led lighting Click image to enlarge Next is the raised air intake, and modify it to make totally waterproof to then become a snorkel, California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

Well, found a few minutes to update my No5 Thread
Only had a quick scan through old post's so hopefully nothing to much repeated After the towing trip back with Rosie (The Series 1) in 2015 It was time for a proper map,, Pete at BAS, supplied a new ecu, and a BAS2 tool, Pete did me a few maps to try as the 2.2 was fairly new to him then tried a 150AB then a 170ab with a bit of adjustment towards towing , Totally transformed the 110 So much so, This is over the Alps to Italy , fully loaded with a near max trailer weight,, for a rally on the beautiful little island of Elba, 3 trips down since account for 2 thirds of her current 15k miles !!
