United Kingdom 2005 Defender 110 Td5 HT Bonatti Grey
Charcoal's 1999 Defender 110 station wagon td5
So its been almost a year living without a Defender. After selling my previous one, I ran a BMW E38 until Winter when my commute became pretty sketchy, didn't want to spend a lot of money and fancied a v8 so bought a Range Rover Classic instead of a Defender. After writing off my truck and losing the job I started to think about getting a Defender again. I need to survive the next few months on my savings before starting the next gig and running the v8 would just waste all of these savings on fuel so made a tactical decision to invest them into something that can hold its value pretty well. Now this time I am going to take another crack at building my dream expedition truck and with a bit of luck I wont have to sell up this time. Anyway, thats enough context so on to the ride..

I had been looking for a long time for a white 110 station wagon 300tdi/td5 but had no luck with everything either being overpriced or at the other end of the country so had to settle with any colour in the end. That's not the end of the white South African look though as I will visit my local body shop and see if its financially viable to get a respray in the most perfect of Land Rover colours, Alpine white. Also depends heavily on how much this green colour grows on me. I also settled for a td5 in the end as it was an engine I hadn't tried before and easy to get more power. Lucky it can just be chipped as it felt pretty gutless above 60mph, especially while climbing. When off the motorways it was rather enjoyable to drive though and at the moment most of my driving will be off motorways so a chip is not the highest of priorities.

Interior was the basic Defender no point telling you lot about it as you all know what its like. Although its not as luxurious as the RRC it fulfils its purpose but will require some attention in the future. A few other miscellaneous mods I will be looking at once the Range Rover is sold will include a HD brownchurch rack, steel wheels, bonnet spare wheel carrier, wing top raised air intake, front runner bull bar and many more cool expedition goodies so stay tuned Cool 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon

Only a tiny update today, the roof rack has gone to its new home on top of a stunning A reg 110. Now for the short period of time where the handling feels strange as I always have Defenders fitted with roof racks Laughing This means that I am hot on the heels for my much desired Brownchurch heavy duty roof rack now Cool

Not sure if this would be a suitable option?

My friend is selling this one, he is in Southampton.

I believe he wants £200.
