LaSalle Trim do some nice speaker pods for the centre of the roof of a Defender, wonder why they never added to their collection and done some seriously kick arse pods for the rear?

I had an email back off the chap who did the install and he said he wished he'd taken a mold of them as he could have sold dozens of them. No chance of him making new ones either.

Sent these pics to a guy earlier who said he can make them up for me no probs. Theyre expensive to start with but if more want them they'll come down in price to around £40 a set. |

If the fit and finish were as good as those in the picture I could definitely go for that.
Well done. |

The only trouble is he needs my wife's 90 for a whole day and he's based in Newcastle-under-Lyme which is a 260 mile round trip. Not a journey I fancy making in a 90 i'm afraid. I'll find someone closer to home who can do it I think.

A chronic back problem to start with and my wife's 90 has the stiffest suspension I've ever seen lol.

A mate of mine who does airbrush work in a custom shop told me there's a place in Cardiff (not too far from me) that does all of their audio installs and they make speaker pods etc to fit custom interiors all the time. I'll get the details off him tomorrow and send them the pics to see if they could do it.

Wonder if any members near Newcastle-under-Lyme could volunteer?

I didn't mate I didn't fancy the drive and long wait there. I bought some nice Tdci rear speaker panels and fitted them either side of the door instead. I had them off a member here much cheaper than LR sell them for.

Looks like something Matt at FCX should be selling.
